Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SRE Service Manager to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our critical services. This role bridges the gap between development and operations, focusing on service health, incident management, and continuous improvement of our systems and processes. Key Responsibilities: 1.Team Leadership Strategy: *Self starter. *Define and drive the SRE roadmap aligned with business and engineering goals. *Partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure service reliability and performance. 2.Service Management: *Own the reliability, availability, and performance of key services. *Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs to ensure service health. *Oversee incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortems. 3.Operational Excellence: *Drive automation, observability, and infrastructure improvements. *Implement and refine processes for change management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery. *Champion best practices in CI/CD, monitoring, and alerting. 4.Stakeholder Communication: *Act as the primary point of contact for service-related issues and escalations. *Communicate service status, risks, and improvements to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Role Requirements and Qualifications: *7+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles. *Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible). *Proven experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.) and incident management platforms (PagerDuty, Opsgenie). *Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. *Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
