Join us and take us to the next level! About the Business Unit IT service provider to all the business within Times internet. About the Role A SRE is an integral part of the IT infrastructure team. Their ability to understand IT requirements for multiple business units and deliver them is the success in this domain. This role is an important part of sysadmin, devops, networks, clouds, incidents and system monitoring to ensure end to end support to the business units. Work Responsibilities Collaborate with business units to gather IT infrastructure requirements, Coordinate with development teams to understand their needs and deliver them. Manage, monitor, maintain the IT infrastructure uptime. Supporting IT services in 24x7 environments. Automate IT service with scripting and automation tools Manage the incidents, prepare RCA.. Work with security and the compliance team to mitigate the IT risk Troubleshoot and debug problems on servers / IT services during incidents. Skills, Experience & Expertise Good experience on Linux OS(centos/ubuntu) internals. working experience of scripting Experience on web servers i.e. Apache/nginx, Tomcat, node JS. Working knowledge of DNS, Load Balancer, WAF, Firewall. Working knowledge of Monitoring tools and ELK Knowledge hypervisor like VMware. Knowledge of AWS cloud services and devops tools and CDN is plus. Understanding the software technologies like PHP/python/java Experience in Docker, containers, kubernetes Eligibility A minimum of 4-7 years experience B Tech/ MCA Specialization in Computer Application Engineering & Technology background will serve as a major advantage
