Job Summary:

Site Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day logistics and transportation operations at the assigned site(s).
• Onboard and maintain effective relationships with local tipper owners, vehicle owners, and transport unions.
• Supervise the movement and scheduling of vehicles for timely and cost-effective material transport.
• Monitor and optimize

  fuel usage

  , and implement controls to minimize fuel pilferage and wastage.
• Lead

  driver management

  , including deployment, discipline, safety compliance, and performance evaluation.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and safety regulations related to site logistics and transportation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for logistics activities, fuel consumption, and vehicle utilization.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, reduce operational costs, and ensure smooth coordination among stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal teams and contractors to align logistics planning with project timelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 7 to 12 years of experience in logistics or transportation management at a site level.

• Mandatory experience in fly ash transportation or disposal operations.

• Strong knowledge of local transportation ecosystems, including working with local vehicle operators and unions.
• Proven experience in managing drivers, vehicles, and fuel operations in a cost-effective manner.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in dynamic project environments and handle multiple priorities.
