SITE ENGINEER TRAINEE

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all engineering and construction standards are met. This role requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, project management skills, and proficiency in various engineering software tools.

Duties

• Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and timelines.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation for drafting and design purposes.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
• Perform construction estimating and prepare detailed project proposals.
• Manage project documentation including technical writing, schematics, and reports.
• Implement GIS technologies such as ArcGIS for site analysis and planning.
• Oversee construction activities related to pipelines, water treatment, wastewater treatment, and hydraulics.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Utilize Mathcad for calculations related to system design and geotechnical engineering.
• Provide support in the development of construction plans using Bluebeam and SWMM.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in construction management or project engineering.
• Proficiency in engineering software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, HEC, GIS applications (ArcGIS), and Mathcad.
• Strong understanding of construction inspection processes and techniques.
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools and methodologies.
• Excellent technical writing skills for documentation purposes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of civil engineering principles related to land surveying, hydraulics, mechanical engineering, and system design.
