Site Engineer

Job Title: Site EngineerLocation: Indore Department: Projects / ConstructionReports To: Project Manager / Senior EngineerJob Purpose:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities at the site, ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, safety, and quality standards, while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor all on-site construction activities.
• Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Check and verify measurements, materials, and workmanship to maintain quality standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports, maintain site records, and update project status.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and site regulations.
• Assist in planning and scheduling site activities in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Monitor material usage and request site requirements in advance to avoid delays.
• Liaise with consultants/clients for inspections, approvals, and issue resolution.
• Identify and report any deviations, technical issues, or risks to the management.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related field).
• 2–5 years of site execution experience in [residential/commercial/high-rise/infrastructure] projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and site management tools.
