Site Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team for ongoing Jal Nigam water supply infrastructure works in the Unnao region. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in pipeline laying, jointing, hydro testing, and general site-level civil execution under government or public utility projects. This role is hands-on and field-intensive, requiring strong coordination with contractors, vendors, and the internal execution team to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily on-site activities, including pipeline trenching, laying, jointing, and backfilling Ensure accurate pipe alignment, bedding, and support as per drawing and technical guidelines Coordinate and conduct hydro testing and quality checks per project specs Monitor contractor progress and adherence to safety protocols and work schedules Maintain daily reports, measurement books, and joint testing records Coordinate with project coordinators, Jal Nigam officials, and third-party inspectors as needed Identify execution challenges and proactively address site-level issues Ensure the availability of materials, tools, and resources at the site Support the documentation required for client billing and compliance audits Requirements: Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related field Minimum 2–4 years of experience in water pipeline infrastructure projects (Jal Nigam, AMRUT, or similar) Working knowledge of pipe jointing techniques (DI, HDPE, uPVC) Familiarity with hydro pressure testing procedures and defect rectification Ability to read civil/utility drawings and execute accordingly Strong site supervision, documentation, and communication skills Willingness to be stationed full-time in Unnao or nearby project areas Preferred Skills: Experience with government water supply projects Familiarity with Jal Jeevan Mission / Jal Nigam SOPs Basic understanding of billing documentation (MBs, JMRs, DPRs) Salary & Growth: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000/month (based on experience & skills) Higher package may be offered for candidates with exceptional field expertise and performance during the interview
