SITE ENGINEER MECHANIC

1. Site Execution

• Supervise and execute mechanical works at the site as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Handle installation, alignment, and erection of mechanical equipment, piping, ducts, and structural steel (PEB components).
• Ensure proper fabrication, welding, and fitting work at the site.
• Coordinate with civil and electrical teams for multi-disciplinary site activities.
• Monitor manpower, tools, and material availability to ensure smooth workflow.

2. Quality & Safety

• Ensure mechanical works comply with quality standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Conduct inspection and testing for welding, alignment, pressure tests, and fittings.
• Enforce safety practices for all mechanical site operations and ensure PPE compliance.
• Report and resolve non-conformances in coordination with QA/QC and Safety departments.

3. Material Handling & Coordination

• Prepare material requirements as per project plan and monitor site inventory.
• Coordinate with stores and procurement for material delivery and verification.
• Maintain proper handling and storage of mechanical components and tools.

4. Drawings & Documentation

• Review mechanical drawings (GA, layout, P&ID) and ensure execution as per approved design.
• Maintain site records such as daily progress reports, inspection reports, and work permits.
• Provide inputs for as-built drawings and technical documentation after completion.

5. Testing & Commissioning

• Assist in mechanical system testing, commissioning, and performance verification.
• Support installation of HVAC, fire-fighting systems, plumbing, or other MEP services (if applicable).
• Coordinate with the client and consultant during inspection and handover stages.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–10 years of experience in industrial / building construction or PEB projects.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication, piping, HVAC, or fire-fighting system installation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, team coordination, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (preferred).

Preferred Industry Experience:

• Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects.
• Industrial plant construction (factories, warehouses, utilities).
• MEP or infrastructure mechanical works.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
