SITE ENGINEER

The Site Engineer is responsible for managing, coordinating, and supervising on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. This role involves close collaboration with architects, contractors, consultants, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Supervision
• Oversee daily construction activities and ensure adherence to approved plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and laborers for smooth site operations.
• Monitor progress and address any delays or challenges promptly.
• Quality Control
• Inspect and verify that all construction work meets quality standards and technical specifications.
• Ensure correct use of materials and workmanship in accordance with project requirements.
• Safety Compliance
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations at the site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Planning & Coordination
• Assist in project scheduling, resource planning, and cost control.
• Coordinate with the design team and consultants for technical clarifications.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain daily site reports, work logs, and progress records.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly progress reports to management.
• Material & Equipment Management
• Monitor material deliveries and usage to avoid wastage.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and tools.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 3 years of experience in site supervision for [residential/commercial/industrial] projects.
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Familiarity with project management software and MS Office.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Work Conditions

• Based primarily at construction sites.
• May require extended hours or weekend work depending on project needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
