Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer (Site Supervisor) to oversee construction projects and ensure work is completed according to design, quality standards, and timelines. The ideal candidate will manage on-site operations, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure adherence to safety regulations and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure timely execution of construction tasks.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, laborers, and other stakeholders.
• Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications and ensure accurate implementation.
• Monitor the progress of projects and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety standards and building regulations.
• Manage materials, labor, and equipment at the site to ensure optimal resource use.
• Address site issues or delays by proposing effective solutions.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control to ensure construction standards are met.
• Maintain site records including daily logs, attendance, and material usage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as a site supervisor or civil engineer on construction projects.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant civil engineering software is a plus.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with [residential/commercial/infrastructure] projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with quality and safety standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).

Work Conditions:

• Field-based role with exposure to construction environments.
• Must be able to work extended hours, including weekends if required.
