Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer (Civil) to join our real estate development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil construction activities at project sites, ensuring that work is carried out according to design specifications, safety standards, and timelines. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage day-to-day on-site construction activities related to civil works, including foundation, structural works, plastering, flooring, external and internal development, electrical and plumbing,and finishing works.
• Interpret project drawings, specifications and contractsto provide clear technical guidance to contractors and workers.
• Ensure execution of work according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Monitor work progress and prepare periodic reports (daily, weekly, monthly) on site activities, manpower, material usage, and progress against the project schedule.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure adherence to design and industry standards.
• Identify and resolve technical or operational issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, material deliveries, labor attendance, and equipment usage.
• Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the construction site.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials and services.
• Assist in cost control by tracking site expenditure, recommending efficient methods, and minimizing wastage.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in civil construction, preferably in real estate development projects.
• Sound knowledge of construction techniques, quality standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting civil construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Experience in using construction management tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, etc.) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with teams and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
