Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) in a dynamic and innovative field. Youll work alongside dedicated, collaborative, and driven teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our people and contractors, while minimizing environmental impacts and protecting Alstom's assets. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (such as Manufacturing, Platform, and Finance), engage with local authorities and stakeholders, and lead the implementation of EHS policies and practices at the site level.
Youll specifically take care of deploying EHS management systems and ensuring compliance with statutory and company standards, but also develop and foster a strong EHS culture across the site.

Supporting Site Management in achieving EHS objectives and results
Driving the implementation of EHS policies and improvement plans
Conducting EHS risk assessments and implementing control measures
Preparing and maintaining emergency plans at the site level
Ensuring sub-contractor activities comply with EHS standards
Leading, coaching, and developing the local EHS team
Developing and maintaining the sites EHS management system
Monitoring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company requirements
Driving EHS continuous improvement and fostering a strong EHS culture
Reporting, investigating, and analyzing accidents/incidents and sharing lessons learned

EducationEngineering Degree in industrial safety is Mandatory (e.g., MTech, ME-ISE, or Diploma from RLI)
Minimum 12 years of experience in Industrial Safety from any manufacturing industry.
LanguageTelugu (mandatory)
Good knowledge and understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
Deep knowledge of local legal requirements
Teamwork and leadership skills
Initiative and action-driven mindset
Strong communication and analytical skills
Familiarity with continuous improvement tools
Telugu language proficiency (mandatory); Tamil language skills (advantageous)
Safety Officer ratification (advantageous)
