Job Summary

The Site Architect is responsible for overseeing and managing all architectural aspects of on-site construction activities. This role ensures that design intent, quality standards, and project specifications are accurately implemented during the execution phase. The Site Architect acts as a liaison between the design team, contractors, and project management to ensure smooth coordination and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor on-site architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other engineering teams to resolve design and construction conflicts.
• Review and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to design intent and identify potential issues early.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure that all architectural works are executed in accordance with local building codes, safety regulations, and project timelines.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, and documentation related to architectural works.
• Participate in site meetings and coordinate with consultants, clients, and contractors to address design-related queries.
• Assist in quality control and assurance processes to maintain high construction standards.
• Support the project team in managing changes, variations, and design modifications during construction.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Professional license or registration as an architect is an advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in architectural site supervision or construction management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.

Working Conditions

• Based primarily on-site with occasional office coordination.
• May require extended hours or weekend work depending on project deadlines.
