Site Accountant

Job Description

We are looking for a Site Accountant with an accounts background to manage financial transactions, documentation, and reporting at project sites. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Excel, good communication skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with financial policies. Key Responsibilities: Material Handling & Accounting: Maintain accurate records of material received, issued, and returned at the site. Invoice & Payment Processing: Verify vendor invoices, match them with purchase orders, and process payments while ensuring compliance with company policies. Stock & Inventory Management: Maintain and reconcile stock registers, tracking material movement and usage. GRN & Documentation: Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), verify invoices, and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions. Reporting & Coordination: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and coordinate with the central finance team. Compliance & Audits: Ensure proper adherence to accounting standards, taxation (GST/TDS), and site financial audits. Vendor & Contractor Management: Handle billing, payment follow-ups, and reconciliation of accounts with vendors and contractors. Qualifications & Skills: Education: B.Com / M.Com (Accounting or Finance specialization preferred). Experience: 0-1 year of experience in an accounting role (preferably in construction, site, or factory environment). Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP or accounting software. Soft Skills: Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work efficiently in a site-based environment.
