Production & Process Management Oversee the entire production process for modular furniture and metal fabrication, ensuring efficiency and quality . Implement lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance productivity. Optimize production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet deadlines. Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and industry best practices . Operational Excellence & Cost Optimization Drive cost control measures , reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency. Identify and implement automation and technology upgrades to enhance production capabilities. Monitor KPIs such as production yield, downtime, OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and defect rates . Manage supply chain, inventory control, and procurement to optimize raw material usage. Team Management & Leadership Lead, train, and motivate production, QC, and site teams to achieve high performance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration . Work closely with design and procurement to align production with business goals. Quality & Compliance Ensure strict adherence to customer specifications . Conduct regular quality checks, audits, and corrective actions . Maintain statutory compliance, health & safety regulations, and environmental standards . Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent . 10+ years of experience in a similar role within the automobile, auto ancillary, modular furniture, or metal fabrication industries . Strong expertise in process-driven manufacturing, lean production, and Six Sigma . Proficiency in ERP systems, production planning software, and automation technologies . Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills . Strong knowledge of fabrication, CNC machining, powder coating, and assembly line operations . Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and a dynamic factory environment .
