Education Qualification Mandatory Education Qualification: Graduates in any discipline (preference will be given to Engineering, Maths & Economics) Additional Qualification Preferred MBA / MMS / MS / PGDM in Finance or Chartered Accountant or CFA Certification preferred : NISM Series XIX-C/D: Alternative Investment Fund Managers Post-qualification relevant work experience would be 5 to 10 years and it should be in one or more areas viz. Project / Credit Appraisal, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, etc. Experience as founder of a start-up will be an added advantage. Preference would be given to candidates with experience in Startup ecosystems, Deeptech, Spacetech, IT, AI, Space technologies, and focused sectors - Defence, Drones, Climate, Impact, Fintech, etc. Broad Work Areas (Investment & Operation) Identifying successful business ventures and building adequate pipeline of investment opportunities. Ability to analyse project viability (technically, financially and commercially). Analysing historical and projected financial statements of prospective investee companies. Working with the team on key metrics to measure the financial returns on investments and mentoring them. Conducting investment appraisals and preparing, presenting, and maintaining detailed investment documentation for the Fund's Investment Committee, Board of Directors and Investors. Support the Fund Manager in overseeing due diligence, documentation of approved investments, compliance process, committing and completing the investments in time. Taking up nominee positions on the Board of investee companies. Monitoring existing investments in investee companies through stringent analysis of financial and operational results and nurturing/handholding investee companies. Conducting industry and market research and assisting in business development efforts. Reviewing periodic financial statements, project progress reports, and other information submitted by investee companies and preparing reports for internal and investor communication. Nurturing investee companies with value creation, working and creating profitable exit opportunities and completing exits from investee companies within timeline.
