Job Title: Showroom Head Jewellery

Job Summary

The Showroom Head Jewellery is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the jewellery showroom, driving sales performance, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer experience, and maintaining brand standards. This role combines leadership, sales expertise, and deep knowledge of jewellery products.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Management

  • Drive showroom sales and achieve monthly and annual targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase walk-ins and conversions
  • Handle high-value and VIP customers, ensuring personalized service
  • Monitor daily sales reports, discounts, and profitability

Showroom Operations

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day showroom operations
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and product displays
  • Oversee inventory management, stock movement, and audits
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and billing procedures

Team Leadership & Training

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise sales executives and support staff
  • Conduct regular training on jewellery knowledge, sales techniques, and customer handling
  • Prepare staff rosters and monitor attendance and performance
  • Handle staff grievances and support a positive work culture

Customer Experience & Relationship Management

  • Ensure superior customer service and long-term customer relationships
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
  • Maintain and grow the customer database for repeat business

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure showroom safety, security protocols, and loss prevention
  • Coordinate with security personnel and follow audit procedures
  • Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and company standards

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, or a related field (preferred)
  • 7–10 years of experience in jewellery retail, with leadership exposure
  • Strong knowledge of gold, diamond, and gemstone jewellery
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data and manage KPIs
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities

  • Experience handling luxury or branded jewellery showrooms
  • Strong presentation and grooming standards
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and festivals
