This is a full-time on-site role for a Shipment Clearance Manager, located in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The Shipment Clearance Manager will oversee the coordination and execution of shipment clearance processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies. Key responsibilities include managing documentation for imports and exports, communicating with clients and customs authorities, ensuring timely clearance of goods, and resolving any issues related to shipping or customs regulations. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and maintaining accurate records of shipment statuses.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of customs clearance processes, import/export regulations, and compliance standards
• Experience in documentation, record management, and report preparation for shipments
• Proficiency in customer communication and coordination, ensuring smooth shipment operations
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to address shipment clearance challenges effectively
• Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and capacity to handle multiple priorities
• Proficiency in relevant software tools, including logistics and shipment tracking systems
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields preferred
• Prior experience in shipment clearance and familiarity with the Mumbai port region is an advantage
