Responsible for managing shift-based production operations with a team of ~60, ensuring seamless execution of 24/7 shop floor activities. Drives performance by actively engaging cross-functional teams to meet planned schedules with high quality standards.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Shift production activities handling and engage the support teams closely.
- Focus on the planned schedules, quick response if any challenges to mitigate.
- End to end responsibility on process compliance.
- Active involvement for Continuous improvement activities and Kaizen, 5S initiatives.
- Ability to improve the OEE (Equipment efficiency) of Automation lines, Testers and specific set of machines
- Good to handle ~60 workforce and effective team played in People management.
- Responsible for Plan Vs Actual schedule adherence, Process compliance of Assembly, Product Yield, Delivery metrics.
- Highly knowledgeable for solution arrival on customer feedback points and process quality enhancement.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with good communication skills. Typically, Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Shop floor production environment and handling the resources.
- Proven ability to manage shift-based production with ~60 workforce, while closely engaging support and cross-functional teams to maintain seamless operations.
- Actively involved in Kaizen, 5S, and efficiency initiatives; experienced in improving OEE across automation lines, testers, and specific machinery.
It would be nice if you also have:
- Experience in advanced production planning tools, real-time schedule monitoring, and data-driven decision-making for Plan vs Actual adherence.
- Demonstrated success in driving yield improvements and leading quality systems audits, especially in response to customer feedback.
- Background in mentoring, performance management, and building high-performing teams to align with long-term production goals and company culture.
