Job Description

Role & responsibilities Knowledge of Forging Process: Should have a sound understanding of hot forging operations and related practices. Drawing Interpretation Skills: Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and ensure part readiness. Die and Shank Alignment: Should be capable of checking and performing proper die and shank alignment , Die holder and key inspection: Must be able to do the inspection of holder,keys, shank of dies, hammer and press die casset, trimming piller etc. Knowledge of Die layout marking and Stamping location Marking: Must be familiar with the standard practices of die and stamping identification and marking. Material Selection and Planning for NPD: Should have experience in selecting appropriate materials and planning for new product development (NPD). Shop Floor Issue Resolution: Should be capable of handling day-to-day activities in the die shop and resolving forging-related issues on the shop floor. Write the die shop production planning & log sheet. Co-ordinate with all inters related dept.s to carry out the related activities. T.C.RS production problems & action taken during production Preferred candidate profile ITI/DIPLOMA DIPLOMA 6-10 Year coordinator for die shop and forge shop related activities
