Operator VTL Machine

Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines according to job orders and blueprints. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine machining operations. Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and clamping. Adjust machine settings (speed, feed, depth) to achieve desired dimensions and surface finishes. Inspect finished parts using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines. Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company guidelines. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Preferred candidate profile High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining preferred. Minimum [X] years of experience operating VTL machines. Strong understanding of machining processes and cutting tools. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
