Job Description (JD)Job Role: Engineer – Mechanical Maintenance Department: Mechanical – CRCA Location: Gandhidham Reporting To: H.O.D. – Mechanical CRCA Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering Experience: Minimum 3–4 years of industrial experience with heavy machinery such as Annealing Furnace, Blowers, Rotating Equipment, Gear Boxes, Skin Pass Mill, Hydraulic Systems, and EOT Cranes. Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of heavy machinery and related systems in the CRCA department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, preventive planning, safety protocols, and cross-functional coordination. Roles & Responsibilities:Ensure the smooth and safe operation of all mechanical equipment during the shift. Monitor Key Process Parameters and take corrective actions in consultation with superiors. Ensure safety compliance of all maintenance activities, including adherence to SOPs. Conduct root cause analysis for breakdowns or non-compliances and implement preventive measures. Coordinate with other departments to achieve plant-wide performance goals. Follow and maintain documentation as per ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, IATF, and EnMS standards. Actively participate in Business Excellence projects related to the Mechanical Department. Contribute to the implementation and adherence to AMNS FPS standards. Ensure the timely execution of planned maintenance jobs on a shift-wise basis. Lead and support shutdown activities, ensuring timely and accurate job completion. Maintain 5S and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices in the CRCA area. Manage spare parts efficiently to ensure easy accessibility and reduce downtime.
