Description
The Service Engineer will be responsible for visiting customer sites to perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of Precision Air Conditioners (PACs) and Chillers. You should have a strong technical background in HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with customers to resolve issues. Additionally, you will attend breakdown calls, troubleshoot problems, and ensure customer satisfaction, with a track record of receiving appreciation mail from customers. Your responsibilities will include visiting customer sites to install, commission, and maintain Precision Air Conditioners (PACs) or Chillers. You will perform preventive maintenance tasks according to scheduled maintenance plans to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems. Responding promptly to breakdown calls and efficiently troubleshooting technical issues to minimize downtime for customers is crucial. Working closely with customers to understand their requirements and providing effective solutions to meet their HVAC needs is also part of your role. You will diagnose and resolve problems encountered by customers during PAC and Chiller operation, ensuring smooth functionality. Maintaining accurate records of service activities, including installation, maintenance, and repairs, using appropriate documentation systems is essential. Providing technical support and guidance to customers on HVAC system operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices is an integral part of the job. Collaborating with internal teams, including sales and engineering, to address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner is also required. Furthermore, you should proactively identify opportunities for improvement in service delivery and recommend solutions to enhance customer satisfaction. Demonstrating professionalism and commitment to delivering high-quality service in all interactions with customers and colleagues is a key aspect of this role. Upholding safety standards and protocols while performing onsite activities to ensure a safe working environment for all parties involved is paramount. The qualifications for this role include a Bachelors of Diploma or BTech in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, willingness to travel to customer sites, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members, good technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including components, controls, and troubleshooting techniques are desired traits.,
