As a ServiceNow SAM Pro Module Expert, you will play a crucial role in our team by utilizing your expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) to drive efficiency and compliance within the organization. With a minimum of 3 years of ITSM experience, including 1 to 2 years with the IT Operations Management (ITOM) module, and at least 2 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow's SAM Pro module, you will be responsible for implementing and managing SAM Pro to ensure optimal performance and alignment with ITIL best practices. Your key responsibilities will include integrating SAM Pro with Publishers, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and maintaining ITSM processes to enhance overall IT operations. You will also be involved in developing strategies for software asset management, conducting regular audits to ensure compliance, and providing technical support for SAM Pro and related modules. Additionally, you will create and maintain documentation, stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and industry trends, and continuously improve the effectiveness of the SAM Pro module. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of the ITIL framework, proven experience in software asset management, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams. A ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and SAM Pro certification are preferred, along with experience in other ServiceNow modules, scripting languages like JavaScript, familiarity with cloud licensing models, and project management experience.
