Job Description

Role Overview: You are a Senior Project Manager at NewRocket, responsible for leading and guiding technical staff on ServiceNow project implementations. In this client facing role, you will manage large, complex professional services projects, lead, coach, and mentor a team to ensure project success. Your problem-solving and leadership skills are crucial to our company's success, and we are excited to have you on our team to steer high-level projects to success. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. - Define project scope, objectives, and communication plans. - Plan project stages, assess business implications, and monitor progress to meet deadlines, standards, and cost targets. - Assign resources, timelines, and schedules for projects. - Facilitate crew and customer meetings. - Manage project execution, budget, forecasts, schedule, and scope. - Mitigate risks and dependencies using Agile and iterative project methodologies. - Develop or update project plans for IT projects. - Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and resolve problems. - Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of IT projects. - Submit project deliverables, ensure quality standards, and prepare status reports. - Measure and report team progress. Qualifications Required: - 8-12 years of business-related experience, with a minimum of 5 years in technology Project/Program Management, preferably with Agile principles. - Proficiency in project methodologies and management principles. - Experience managing projects throughout execution and overseeing project economics. - Understanding of ServiceNow Domain areas. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, facilitation skills, attention to detail, and ability to assess and mitigate risks. - Experience leading and motivating teams, working in a matrixed organization, and dealing with ambiguity and change. - Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field. - PMP certification and Agile/SCRUM certifications preferred. - ServiceNow experience preferred.
