About the Role

ServiceNow IRM Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable solutions within the ServiceNow IRM suite to support Compliance and Risk initiatives.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow modules including workflows, scripting, UI policies, ACLs, integrations, and CMDB.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Product Owners, Architects, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
• Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation.
• Provide accurate estimates for design, build, test, and implementation phases.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to team members on best practices and coding standards.
• Support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing; align with broader testing strategies.
• Prepare production-ready configurations and assist with deployment activities.
• Offer technical consultation to product owners and contribute to shaping the technical roadmap.
• Evaluate and recommend tools and third-party solutions based on evolving business and regulatory needs.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and utilize tools such as Rally for project tracking.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of overall development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, specifically in Integrated Risk Management (IRM) implementations.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, RESTful APIs, XML, Java, Jelly scripting, and AngularJS.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow configurations and integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience building and executing JavaScript utilities.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• Conceptual understanding of enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Exposure to Machine Learning or Generative AI technologies (a plus, not required).

Additional Information

• This role is part of a strategic initiative to migrate from Archer to a new ServiceNow-based IRM platform.
• The first 90 days to 1 year will focus on integrating with the team, understanding the legacy Archer system, and delivering key requirements by year-end.
• Long-term responsibilities include supporting a multi-year roadmap to build a robust IRM platform in response to evolving regulatory demands.

Interview Process

• Initial screening by Ratul.
• 2–3 rounds of technical interviews with team members from India and the US.
• Interviews will be conducted via video; no live coding required.
