Senior ServiceNow Developer

Key Responsibilities

Core Development & Configuration

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions across

  CSM

  ,

  ITSM

  , and custom applications.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow modules using

  JavaScript

  , client/server scripts, UI policies, business rules, script includes, and workflows.
• Build applications and automated workflows using

  App Engine Studio

  and

  Flow Designer

  .
• Develop and customize Customer Service Management components, including case workflows, service operations, knowledge management, and portal configurations.
  

Platform Integrations & Enhancements

• Implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, IntegrationHub, and other ServiceNow integration capabilities.
  
• Leverage

  NowAssist

  and GenAI capabilities to optimize workflows, virtual agent interactions, and knowledge delivery.
• Enhance platform performance and troubleshoot issues across modules.
  

Solution Design & Architecture

• Participate in requirement analysis sessions and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  
• Ensure solution alignment with ServiceNow best practices and platform governance standards.
  
• Create and maintain technical design documents, solution architecture, and coding standards.
  

Quality Assurance & Support

• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and support user acceptance testing.
  
• Provide L3 support for ServiceNow issues and enhancements.
  
• Ensure platform compliance with security, data privacy, and audit guidelines.
  

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, QA, and ServiceNow administrators.
  
• Mentor junior developers and guide them on platform standards and development practices.
  
• Drive continuous platform improvements, upgrade readiness, and adoption of new ServiceNow features.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8–10 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on experience in

  ServiceNow development

  .
• Expertise in

  CSM

  and

  ITSM

  modules.
• Strong understanding of

  ServiceNow scripting

  ,

  Flow Designer

  , and

  App Engine Studio

  .
• Certified Application Developer (

  CAD

  ) certification is mandatory.
• Experience with Generative AI/NowAssist capabilities is a strong advantage.
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
