As a ServiceNow Developer, your role involves collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into technical specifications. You will design and develop ServiceNow applications and modules, ensuring adherence to best practices. Your key responsibilities include: - Customizing and configuring workflows, forms, fields, scripts, business rules, UI policies, and other ServiceNow components. - Implementing and configuring ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules like discovery, Service Mapping, event management, and CMDB. - Monitoring and managing infrastructure events, alerts, and incidents using ServiceNow Event Management. - Developing and maintaining integrations between ServiceNow and other monitoring tools and systems. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Conducting unit testing and participating in quality assurance activities. - Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and test plans. - Providing ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications. - Training end-users and support teams on new features and functionality. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with expertise in platform configurations and customizations. - Strong understanding of ITSM and business process automation concepts. - Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. - Experience with ServiceNow integrations and web services. - ServiceNow certification(s) is a plus. This job requires you to have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining ServiceNow applications, along with a good understanding of ITSM processes. Your expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow integrations will be key in delivering high-quality solutions to meet evolving business needs.
