Servicenow Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead

  solution design, architecture, and technical implementations

  within the ServiceNow platform.
• Perform end-to-end

  ServiceNow development

  including custom applications, workflows, integrations, and advanced scripting.
• Architect and implement solutions for

  ITSM modules

  , ensuring seamless integrations and scalable design.
• Work on

  ITOM and ITAM

  modules for discovery, service mapping, and asset lifecycle management (preferred).
• Develop and maintain

  REST APIbased integrations

  with external systems and third-party applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
  
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and platform governance.
  
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide advanced support when required.
  
• Participate in release planning, technical reviews, and design discussions.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of pure ServiceNow development experience

  (recent roles must be core development focused).
• Strong experience in

  architecture, solutioning, and technical design

  (approximately 5060% architecture involvement).
• Mandatory hands-on expertise in

  ITSM integration and implementation

  .
• Preferred experience with

  ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping)

  and

  ITAM

  modules.
• Proven experience working with

  REST APIs, web services, and third-party system integrations

  .
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow scripting (Glide API, client scripts, business rules, UI actions, etc.).
  
• Ability to work independently in an IC role while influencing cross-functional teams.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  

Good-to-Have

• Prior team mentoring or leadership experience (not mandatory).
  
• Relevant ServiceNow certifications such as:
  

• CSA – Certified System Administrator

• CAD – Certified Application Developer

• CTA – Certified Technical Architect
