As a ServiceNow Developer at Blue Mantis, you will be an integral part of the team, collaborating with internal teams and clients to develop solutions and manage platform-related tasks and development projects. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Develop, configure, and customize the ServiceNow platform to align with business requirements. - Manage Configuration Management (CMDB), Knowledge Base, and Service Catalog administration. - Customize application fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles, and access controls. - Integrate ServiceNow applications with third-party systems/applications through APIs. - Provide input for technical documentation updates. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to prioritize business requirements is crucial. Your responsibilities will also include writing clean, efficient code, conducting code reviews, debugging technical issues, running software quality assurance test cases, documenting code and application functionality, and keeping up-to-date with emerging trends in ServiceNow development. To excel in this role, you should possess a Graduation/Post-Graduation degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in ServiceNow development. Proficiency in scripting, workflows, integrations, and familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies, IT Service Management (ITSM), and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes is essential. Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and in a team. A ServiceNow System Administrator Certification is also mandatory.
