Job Description

As a Service Technician, your role involves performing field service, repair, commissioning, and training for industrial machinery. You will be responsible for handling machine repairs promptly, conducting customer start-up and training, troubleshooting technical issues, and creating quotations for service, preventive maintenance, and training. Documentation of service work through detailed reports and photos, collaboration with the German HQ, and maintaining a clean service workspace are also part of your primary duties. Your secondary duties will include supporting shipping & receiving, preparing machines for dispatch, assisting sales/marketing with quotations and customer visits, and recommending process improvements for operational efficiency. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in industrial machine servicing, ideally cutting machines. A Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology or equivalent hands-on technical experience is required. Ability to interpret fluid power and electrical schematics, strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls, along with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected. Additionally, you must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
