Job Summary:

The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing operations across multiple sites, ensuring smooth execution of O&M activities, client coordination, team management, and business growth. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in water and wastewater systems, and the ability to handle customer and operational challenges independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations & Maintenance:

    • Oversee O&M activities across multiple sites to ensure efficient plant performance and client satisfaction.
    • Monitor operational parameters and ensure compliance with agreed SLAs.
    • Provide technical guidance to site teams for troubleshooting and optimization.
  • Client Coordination & Reporting:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
    • Ensure timely submission of monthly reports, bills, and documentation.
    • Coordinate for AMC renewal, new service proposals, and address client queries effectively.
  • Financial & Commercial Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for

      monthly bill submission, payment follow-up

      , and collection.
    • Support

      AMC renewal and new business generation

      opportunities.
    • Track project profitability and cost control measures.
  • Team Management & Development:

    • Lead, mentor, and motivate site teams to achieve operational excellence.
    • Conduct

      team-building and training activities

      to enhance technical and safety competencies.
    • Support manpower planning and performance evaluation of team members.
  • Safety & Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to

      safety norms, statutory compliances

      , and company policies across all sites.
    • Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Business Growth:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in O&M and service domains.
    • Build strong client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Key Skills Required:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Sound technical knowledge of water & wastewater treatment systems (ETP, STP, RO, UF, etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and report preparation
  • Client handling and commercial acumen
  • Knowledge of safety, statutory norms, and environmental compliances
