Role Summary:

The Service Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the service department, ensuring high-quality repairs, timely service delivery, team leadership, and exceptional customer experience. This role is critical to maintaining Shree Dev Motors' commitment to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the service workshop, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal productivity.
• Manage a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff — including performance, training, and development.
• Ensure accurate diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles per OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines.
• Monitor service appointments, job card creation, estimates, and timely delivery of vehicles.
• Ensure customer complaints and escalations are handled promptly and professionally.
• Monitor KPIs such as Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), workshop utilization, revenue targets, and turnaround time (TAT).
• Maintain proper inventory of spare parts and workshop tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and brand-specific service guidelines.
• Coordinate with the Sales and Spare Parts departments for smooth interdepartmental workflow.
• Generate and present service reports and metrics to management.
