Job Description

Service Manager – Job Role (Automobile Industry)Key Responsibilities: Workshop Operations: Oversee daily service operations to ensure smooth workflow, timely vehicle delivery, and high productivity. Team Management: Supervise technicians, service advisors, and other workshop staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluation. Customer Satisfaction: Handle escalated customer concerns, ensure quality service, and maintain long-term customer relationships. Process & Quality Control: Implement standard operating procedures, maintain workshop discipline, and ensure vehicles are serviced as per manufacturer guidelines. Revenue & Targets: Monitor workshop revenue, achieve service targets, upsell value-added services, and control expenses. Inventory Coordination: Work closely with the spares department for parts availability and stock management. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, warranty procedures, and workplace safety standards. Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on service performance, productivity, and customer feedback for management review.
