Job Description

As a Cloud Service Manager at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of cloud platforms and products. You will lead the Cloud Site Reliability Engineering team within Cloud & Productivity Engineering, focusing on maintaining and enhancing the reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of the Cloud platform and products. Your responsibilities will include: - Being accountable for maintaining all ITSM processes such as incident, problem, request, and change - Conducting post-mortem exercises for incidents and problems, documenting lessons learned and implementing preventative actions - Championing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency - Developing and maintaining comprehensive reporting mechanisms for service performance, including SLAs, SLOs, and other performance indicators - Ensuring a customer-centric approach to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and positive Experience Levels (XLAs) - Reporting and communicating service performance to business, technology leaders, and internal customers - Maintaining accurate, accessible, and user-friendly end-user documentation - Managing the relationship and service levels of Cloud Service providers - Ensuring compliance with technology and security policies within the Public Cloud infrastructure - Advising on service operability requirements related to service resilience investment - Advising on change best practices on Public Cloud environments Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven 5+ years of experience in a managerial role within a Cloud Platform or IT Service Management function - ITIL Certification (v4 preferred) - Experience in Service Availability, Continuity, and Disaster Recovery processes - Strong customer service orientation and experience managing developers and customer expectations - In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure and related technologies - Ability to drive continuous service improvement and manage change effectively - Effective communication and documentation skills Preferred skills for the role include proficiency in cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, Power BI skills, and ServiceNow reporting. Additionally, having solid project management skills and experience in handling customer relationships will be beneficial. Education and Professional Skills required: - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM degree Cloud Certifications and Project Management Certifications are optional but beneficial for this role.
