Job Description

General Manager (GM) of Service at a Maruti Suzuki dealership manages the entire after-sales department, focusing on driving revenue, ensuring high customer satisfaction (CSI), optimizing workshop efficiency, leading teams (technicians, advisors), controlling costs, and aligning operations with Maruti's standards for profitability and brand loyalty, handling strategic planning, performance monitoring, and escalated customer issues. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic & Financial Management:
  • Develop and execute strategies for service revenue & profitability targets.
  • Manage budgets, control expenses (parts, labor), and monitor financial performance.
  • Implement service marketing plans to attract and retain customers.
  • Operations & Efficiency:
  • Oversee daily workshop operations (service, body shop, parts).
  • Ensure adherence to Maruti Suzuki's service processes, quality, and safety standards.
  • Optimize workflow, manage inventory, and improve turnaround times.
  • Customer Experience (CSI):
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve escalated complaints effectively.
  • Implement strategies to enhance customer delight and retention.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and manage service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
  • Foster a positive work environment and build team morale.
  • Conduct performance reviews and approve training.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
  • Report department performance and KPIs to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies and industry regulations.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership, business acumen, and analytical skills.
  • Deep understanding of automotive after-sales business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the automotive industry, preferably with Maruti Suzuki.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per year
