Job Description

Role Overview: As an experienced professional in Hydrographic Survey, you will be responsible for managing service and maintenance operations for hydrographic and geophysical equipment. Your primary tasks will include conducting pre- and post-mobilization checks, on-site installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment. Your role will involve providing engineering services, technical support for client/Unique owned equipment, coordinating with OEMs, managing spare parts, providing remote technical support to clients, and ensuring all equipment is operational and ready for deployment. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and prepare for upcoming site visits and field operations, including the execution of Survey department activities both onsite and offshore. - Handle the mobilization and demobilization of all equipment efficiently. - Compile detailed service reports after site visits and service activities. - Follow up on services to meet all client requirements and standards. - Ensure the accuracy of survey and marine inventories data in the system. - Update data in the system related to DN/GRN and documentation as required. - Conduct site visits for inspection, installation, commissioning, and service support of hydrographic and geophysical equipment. - Manage field operations, providing technical support and troubleshooting onsite issues promptly. - Offer on-site technical support and address any arising issues effectively. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with hydrographic and geophysical equipment during field operations. - Perform upgradation and calibration of survey equipment. - Maintain and audit the physical stock of the workshop. - Oversee the testing, maintenance, and installation of survey equipment to ensure correct and safe functioning. - Conduct repair and maintenance of survey equipment in the workshop. - Coordinate and assist the Sales and Logistics Division in equipment movement. - Plan and manage the logistics of equipment deployment and retrieval for field operations. - Draft and submit comprehensive reports to superiors and key individuals, detailing site activities, technical issues, and project progress. - Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to ensure transparency and collaboration. - Coordinate and provide technical support to the sales team. - Prepare and submit necessary reports in a timely manner. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation & Communication, or Civil with experience in Hydrographic Survey). - Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Knowledge of survey equipment and related software preferred. - Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience.,
