Service Engineer

Overview

RACE is building and deploying India’s most advanced battery swapping infrastructure for use in 3-wheelers and 2-wheelers. We are a deep-tech start-up building and pushing the boundaries of battery swapping technology.

RACE was founded in Hyderabad in 2018 by two BITSian alumni with the intention of accelerating the electric vehicle adoption in India.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Vehicle Diagnostics and Troubleshooting:

-Conduct thorough diagnostics on electric vehicles to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues.

- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and address problems efficiently.

Repairs and Maintenance:

-Perform routine maintenance tasks on electric vehicles, including battery checks, software updates, and general system inspections.

- Execute complex repairs, replacements, and upgrades on EV components, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety standards.

Customer Support:

-Interact directly with customers to understand and address their concerns, providing clear and concise explanations of repairs and maintenance procedures.

- Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, creating a positive experience for EV owners during service interactions.

-Prepare and submit reports on progress and status of all testing procedures.

- Ensure compliance to electrical safety procedures and rules are strictly adhered to while testing.

-Provide training to factory workers on testing and debugging products.

Desired Skills:

-Must be a recent graduate from Electronics/Telecommunication, Production/Industrial, Instrumentation, Computers, Electrical backgrounds.

-Must have good knowledge in testing equipment like multi meter, clamp meter, load bank etc.

- Language proficiency- English and Hindi
