Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Experience: 2-4Year

Since then the company has grown into a technology driven organization which has manufactured over 900 machines adopting international standards.

HYT Engineering Company Pvt Ltd has an Ultra-Modern Facility of 16000 square metres for design, manufacturing and testing of machines. A team of 500 High skilled, semi-skilled manpower and 350 staff members including qualified engineers is devoted to fulfil all customer requirements. We are having a Service set up in PAN India with a dedicated team of 150 Service Engineers. HYT has developed and established agencies for maintaining our machines on the global platform as well.

We at HYT are constantly upgrading technology to provide economical solutions for challenging demands. We believe in providing turnkey solutions from design, manufacturing to after sales maintenance. Our unique approach towards planning and prompt execution has made us a dominant player in the infrastructure industry also. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Breakdown and Machine Support:

    Provide immediate support for machine breakdowns and other technical requirements at the site.
  2. Site Visits and Remote Assistance:

    Conduct daily site visits and offer support through calls or video calls to address on-site needs.
  3. Material Cross-Check:

    Verify all site materials, ensuring accurate and efficient management.
  4. Repairable vs Non-Repairable Assessment:

    Evaluate equipment to determine whether items are repairable or need to be sent back to Pune HQ, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
  5. Work Completion:

    Ensure all assigned daily tasks are completed without fail, maintaining high standards of service.
  6. Local Supplier Coordination:

    Collaborate with local suppliers for spare parts and repair services. Engage the Team Leader and Reporting Manager as necessary.
  7. Reporting:

    Submit detailed daily reports to the Reporting Manager on site activities and machine conditions.
  8. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Corrective Actions:

    Identify and analyse recurring machine failures, conducting RCA and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Weekly RCA and CAPA reports must be submitted to the Reporting Manager.
  9. Maintenance Maximization:

    Optimize machine maintenance under Repair Contract (RC), Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), and Preventive Maintenance Contract (PMC) frameworks to reduce breakdown occurrences.
  10. Service Team Performance Improvement:

    Enhance the Service Team's efficiency in problem-solving and reducing breakdown periods.
  11. Contractual Team Coordination:

    Ensure seamless collaboration with contractual teams for 100% accurate and timely completion of service tasks.
  12. Team Collaboration:

    Work closely with the Service Team (including Service Team Leader and other team members) to align with the company's service policies.
  13. Breakdown History Management:

    Document and maintain records of machine breakdowns, especially long-lead ones, for reference and analysis.
  14. Service Activity Monitoring:

    Oversee service activities, ensuring compliance with the company's Service Policy.
  15. Weekly Reporting:

    Submit comprehensive weekly machine reports to the Reporting Manager.
  16. Consignee Communication:

    Inform the consignee (SSE & relevant Railway Officers) before and after performing any work at the site.
  17. Documentation:

    Collect joint notes from the consignee in adherence to company policies.
  18. Professional Conduct:

    Maintain respectful and professional behaviour when interacting with the consignee and other stakeholders.
  19. PPE Compliance:

    Ensure the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at the site, in accordance with safety protocols.
  20. Adaptability:

    Be flexible in adapting responsibilities based on the evolving needs of the site.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Diploma/Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant field).
  • Proven experience in machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and field service.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve technical problems effectively.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis and implementing CAPA.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and the use of PPE.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholder
