Job description Job Title: Service Certification Engineer Location: Bangalore (Hybrid) Experience: 5+ Years Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Certification Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security across multiple platforms and a proven ability to design, implement, and enforce robust security policies. This role will be critical in ensuring the certification of our cloud services, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement cloud security certification processes and frameworks for services deployed on AWS, GCP, and Azure. Conduct in-depth security assessments and audits of cloud services to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Develop and enforce cloud-native security policies and standards using tools like Terraform Sentinel. Collaborate with development, operations, and compliance teams to embed security best practices throughout the service lifecycle. Automate security controls and compliance checks to streamline the certification process. Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies. Provide guidance and mentorship on cloud security best practices to engineering teams. Prepare and present certification reports, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our cloud security posture and certification programs. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a cloud security or service certification role. Strong expertise in Cloud Security across major cloud providers, specifically AWS, GCP, and Azure. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security tools, particularly Terraform Sentinel . In-depth understanding and practical experience with implementing and enforcing Cloud Native Policies . Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation. Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. Preferred Qualifications: Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Google Cloud Professional Security Engineer). Experience with other security tools and technologies such as SIEM, WAF, IDS/IPS. Knowledge of compliance requirements for various industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare).
