We are looking for a reliable and customer-friendly Cashier to manage billing and payment transactions at our restaurant. The ideal candidate should be accurate, polite, and able to handle cash, digital payments, and customer queries efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and handle billing at the counter
Generate bills using POS system or manual billing
Accept payments via cash, UPI, cards, and wallets
Ensure correct change is given to customers
Coordinate with service staff and kitchen for order accuracy
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier counter
Handle customer complaints or escalate to the manager when needed
Maintain daily sales records and submit cash to management
Follow restaurant policies and hygiene standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems
Good communication skills
Basic math and cash-handling ability
Honest, punctual, and responsible
Ability to work under pressure during rush hours
Experience:
Fresher or 1–2 years experience in restaurant/hotel industry preferred
Working Hours:
Shift-based (including weekends and holidays)
