Server Engineer

The company is in search of a tech-savvy Server Engineer who possesses the necessary technical expertise to design and manage servers with varying operating systems across different locations within the organization. The primary responsibility will be to ensure that servers are easily accessible to consumers for executing crucial tasks. Effective communication skills are essential to provide consumer support and address their queries. As a Server Engineer within our organization, your key responsibilities will include collaborating with developers and end-users of the established infrastructure, devising and executing diverse infrastructure solutions, and overseeing the maintenance of servers operating on different platforms. You will be required to coordinate with infrastructure users during scheduled outages, ensure servers are up-to-date with the latest security patches to avert unauthorized access, and proficiently decommission infrastructure when necessary. Additionally, setting up servers in accordance with infrastructure requests intricacies and establishing proper logging and monitoring mechanisms for servers in the organization's environment are crucial tasks. Regular interaction with vendors will also be part of your role. The ideal candidate for the Server Engineer position should possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills are essential traits for this role.
