SEO Specialist

About the Role:

Talwarsons, one of North India’s most established luxury jewelry brands, is seeking a highly experienced SEO Specialist to manage and lead all technical and strategic aspects of search engine optimization.

This is a freelance hybrid role, open only to candidates based in Chandigarh, Mohali, or Panchkula, with availability for in-person check-ins, planning meetings, and ongoing collaboration with internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical SEO, on-page optimization, local search visibility, and content-led ranking strategies, particularly for high-value, category-specific industries like jewelry, luxury retail, or e-commerce.

Engagement Type:

• Freelance (Long-Term)

• Based in Chandigarh, Mohali, or Panchkula
• Availability for periodic in-person meetings required

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on SEO experience, with focus on technical SEO and local SEO implementation
• Strong command of Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and other industry-standard SEO tools
• Deep understanding of on-page SEO, including metadata optimization, keyword distribution, structured content, and mobile-first indexing
• Experience implementing and troubleshooting schema markup, canonicals, redirects, and crawl directives
• Familiarity with platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or other custom CMS systems
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics for making light code adjustments or communicating dev instructions clearly
• Strong reporting skills, capable of translating data into clear recommendations and insights for both marketing and management teams
• Must be detail-oriented, self-managed, and capable of building a long-term SEO roadmap in collaboration with content, design, and product teams.
