SEO Specialist (Search Engine Optimization)

British English Academy is seeking a results-driven SEO Specialist to improve our online presence, drive organic traffic, and enhance visibility across search engines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing SEO strategies, optimizing website content, and using analytics tools to measure and improve performance. You will play a key role in growing our digital footprint and helping us connect with a global audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and search rankings.
• Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search terms and optimize content accordingly.
• Optimize on-page elements including titles, meta descriptions, headers, images, and internal links.
• Perform technical SEO audits and recommend improvements for site speed, mobile responsiveness, and crawlability.
• Build and manage backlinks through ethical SEO practices.
• Collaborate with the content and web development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
• Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Generate reports on keyword rankings, traffic growth, and ROI.
• Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience in SEO/digital marketing.
• Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and website management (WordPress or similar CMS).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.
