About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving our organic search visibility, driving qualified traffic, and boosting conversions through effective SEO strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth.
Optimise website content, landing pages, blogs, and metadata for search engines.
Plan and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
Monitor technical SEO elements, including site speed, crawl errors, and indexing.
Perform competitor and industry analysis to stay ahead in search rankings.
Build high-quality backlinks through ethical link-building strategies.
Track, measure, and report SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO best practices.
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and industry best practices.
Requirements
Proven experience (3-5 years) as an SEO Specialist.
Strong knowledge of SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website CMS (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
Understanding of technical SEO, site architecture, and mobile-first indexing.
Experience in link-building and outreach campaigns.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Prior experience in News websites and media space.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with content marketing and copywriting.
Certifications in SEO, Google Analytics, or Digital Marketing (preferred but not mandatory).
