Responsibilities

• Keyword Research: Conduct research to identify relevant keywords and phrases for a company's website and content.
• On-Page Optimization: Assist in optimizing website elements such as meta tags, headings, and content to align with target keywords and improve search engine visibility.
• Off-Page Optimization: Support link-building efforts through various strategies to acquire quality backlinks.
• Content Collaboration: Work with content creators to ensure that new and existing content is SEO-friendly.
• Performance Monitoring: Use tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console to monitor website performance, track keyword rankings, and identify areas for improvement.
• Technical SEO: Assist with basic technical SEO tasks, such as resolving crawl errors, improving site speed, and ensuring mobile-friendliness.
• Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor websites and strategies to identify new opportunities.
• Staying Updated: Keep up with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
  

Requirements

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field is often preferred.
• Foundational Knowledge: A basic understanding of SEO principles, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting on performance.
• Eagerness to Learn: A passion for digital marketing and a willingness to adapt to new technologies and algorithm updates.
• Tool Familiarity: Basic knowledge of SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs is a plus. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge may also be required.
