Senior/Lead Cloud Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of

  scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native applications

  on AWS.
• Implement and manage

  containerized environments

  using Kubernetes, EKS, or OpenShift.
• Develop

  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  using Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Build and maintain

  CI/CD pipelines

  using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and conduct

  code and architecture reviews

  .
• Optimize and monitor

  application and infrastructure performance

  using observability tools such as Datadog.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• AWS or other cloud certifications (e.g.,

  Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer

  ) preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Must-Have Skills (5+ years)

• Proficiency in modern programming languages (

  TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar

  ).
• Strong hands-on experience with

  AWS Serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, etc.)

  .
• Deep knowledge of AWS managed databases (

  Amazon RDS, DynamoDB

  ).
• Expertise in

  containerization

  (Kubernetes, AWS EKS/ECS, OpenShift).
• Proven experience in

  CI/CD automation

  (GitLab CI, GitHub, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with

  developer collaboration tools

  (Git, Jira, Confluence).

Should-Have Skills (3+ years)

• AWS Networking (

  Amazon API Gateway

  ).
• AWS Storage services (

  Amazon S3

  ).
• Exposure to AWS AI/ML services (

  SageMaker, Bedrock, Amazon Q, Amazon Q Business

  ).
• Infrastructure as Code (

  ).

• Experience with

  Contact Center solutions

  (Amazon Connect).
• Use of

  HashiCorp Vault

  for secrets management.
• Knowledge of
