Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain high-quality websites using WordPress, Shopify, and Wix.
• Design and implement custom themes, plugins, and modules as per project requirements.
• Collaborate with the UI/UX team to convert wireframes and mockups into responsive, pixel-perfect designs.
• Work on frontend and backend development, ensuring seamless performance and scalability.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and tools for enhanced website functionality.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and security, ensuring best practices.
• Conduct performance audits, debugging, and troubleshooting for existing projects.
• Manage multiple projects, maintain code quality, and deliver on time.
• Stay updated with the latest CMS trends, WordPress technologies, and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify, Wix, and WooCommerce.
• Excellent experience in:
• Custom Plugin Development
• Custom Theme Development
• Advanced Theme Customization
• Custom API Integration
• Solid understanding of frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON).
• Experience in UI/UX implementation, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
• Understanding of backend architecture, databases, and CMS optimization.
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery.
• Strong grasp of SEO optimization, performance tuning, and web security.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with React.js, Vue.js, or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Knowledge of Headless WordPress and REST API integrations.
• Basic understanding of Node.js, Laravel, or other backend frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
