Job Title: Senior WordPress Developer Experience: 3+ Years Location: Madurai Job Summary: We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization, performance optimization, and integration with third-party APIs. You will be responsible for developing high-quality websites and web applications that meet modern design and functionality standards. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites. Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins. Develop custom themes and plugins as per project requirements. Ensure high-performance and availability, and manage all technical aspects of the CMS. Work with UI/UX designers to bring mockups and wireframes to life. Optimize website performance (loading speed, SEO, security). Troubleshoot and resolve website problems for clients and co-workers. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress and web development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and backend developers. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in WordPress development. Strong knowledge of WordPress core, themes, plugins, and architecture. Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery. Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg. Familiarity with MySQL and database optimization. Knowledge of SEO principles and accessibility standards. Version control experience with Git. Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
