About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior Web Developer to join our team at Hooqx. The ideal candidate must have 3+ years of experience in web development, proven expertise in leading a small development team, and the ability to build modern, responsive, and dynamic websites for our clients. This role requires both technical proficiency and leadership qualities to guide junior developers effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a small team of junior web developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Develop, design, and maintain new websites for clients across various industries.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and client servicing teams to deliver customized web solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Ensure websites are responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for performance.
• Handle troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading of existing projects.
• Manage project timelines, allocate tasks, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends, frameworks, and best practices.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Senior Web Developer or Team Lead.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.
• Strong knowledge of frontend frameworks (React.js / Angular / Vue.js) and backend frameworks (Laravel / Node.js).
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Magento.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub).
• Familiarity with API integrations and third-party tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 (based on last drawn salary and relevant experience).
