Job Description

Job Title: Dialer IT Technician – VOIP Process

Department: IT / Network Operations

Job Summary:

The Dialer IT Technician is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting the company’s dialer systems, VOIP network, and IT infrastructure. The role involves managing day-to-day dialer operations, troubleshooting VOIP and network issues, ensuring system uptime and performance, and coordinating with technical teams for smooth operations across the process.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Offer guidance on handling dialer and VOIP notifications, and assist the IT team in resolving technical issues promptly.

Monitor and maintain ViciDial, PBX, and VOIP systems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

Prioritize and manage incidents, requests, and technical escalations efficiently.

Perform routine system checks, updates, and configurations for dialer and network stability.

Lead response efforts for Asterisk and VOIP-related issues, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime.

Act as the primary point of contact between the technical support team and operations.

Ensure clear and timely communication regarding incident status, maintenance schedules, and resolutions to clients and management.

Maintain documentation of system configurations, incident reports, and technical procedures.

Skill Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 4+ years in dialer management, IT infrastructure, or network operations.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of VOIP technology, Asterisk, FreePBX, ViciDialer, SIP trunks, and IVR systems.

Familiar with TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), and network troubleshooting.

Abilities:

Capable of diagnosing and resolving ViciDialer / PBX / VOIP / Network-related issues.

Experienced in coordinating with internal and external service providers during incidents.

Able to perform under pressure and in a fast-paced, 24x7 environment.

Preferred Skills & Industry Experience:

Industry Type: VOIP, Telecom, ISP, BPO.

Key Tools & Platforms: Asterisk, ViciDial, FreePBX IVR, VOIP Systems, CRM Integration, Network Monitoring Tools.
